I have a 1999 Mercury Cougar W / A 3.8 V6 engine in the mechanics of the distribution of several tell me they have a problem with the fuel pump. After 3 visits to the dealer and a mechanic in the street again, I get very frustrated. They say it is the fuel pump and allows the fuel pump replaced twice. I also had an important framework that has replaced all the son of spark plugs and ignition coils, but I'm still on this topic. The car is never completely down and out, but it works in between, this is very unreliable. Greater control if he wants. I'm going to the mall, and when I go, will not start. If I wait several hours, you can start or not until a few days. When I start it, it does provide a means for not doing enough but the engine gas. HELP PLEASE! What could be the problem? Could it be electrical or a problem with the fuel pump related, but no fuel pump itself? I'm at the end of my mind.

Fuel pump and alternator are almost two weaknesses of the Mercury Cougar. Many owners had similar complaints to those who have it from that perspective, his experience does not surprise me. What surprises me is that the broker does not solve the problem correctly.
